Dingle pier construction
Construction of a new and larger pier at Dingle to cater for its increased trade
The Irish parliament granted the sum of ?1,000 sterling to Maurice FitzGerald, Knight of Kerry and sovereign of Dingle, for the building of a new pier to replace the old medieval one known as the Spanish pier.
